Ostend inspirational congress - a deep dive for the meeting industry

On October 22nd 2019 Meet in Oostende organises an inspiring congress for everyone who is professionally involved in organising corporate events and conferences. Next to inspiring speakers, who will take a 'deep dive' in the meeting industry, you will get a chance to meet with collegues in the meeting industry and the local suppliers of Ostend.

What’s new and how should you prepare for it? To set sail, Tom Palmaerts starts off with insights into the trends of the meeting industry. Trendwolves is the main trend watching agency, dedicated to upcoming changes, demographics and dedicated marketing. During the dive our moderator Samme Allen will assist you in diving deeper, will challenge you to move forward. She has worked on a diverse range of events around the world with the ability to tackle sensitive topics, manage energetic debates and cross cultural issues all within pressurised and time sensitive environments.

The search for and preservation of heritage sites and their importance to the meeting industry will literally lead you into the water. Time to jump and start exploring! During your exploration in the afternoon it’s time to meet your diving buddies. Discovering blue energy and offshore wind for the MICE industry and Associations will be introduced by Pieter Jan Jordaens. Niel van Herck will discuss the do’s and don‘ts in social media for subcontractors. His references include NMBS and Toerisme Vlaanderen. Next, Peter Craeymeersch will inform you on upcoming projects in Ostend and on how the city prepares to be future proof.

Sounds like you shouldn’t miss out, right? Register for the Ostend Inspirational Congres at Kursaal Oostende on Tuesday 22 October 2019. The programme is free for meeting and event planners.
