WALK IN THE CITY CENTRE
In and around the tracé of the old Ostend town ramparts (razed from 1865), you will be introduced to the heart of the modern seaside resort which, besides its current touristic infrastructure also represents its glorious history.
LIGHTHOUSE AND FISH MARKET STROLL
A walk at the eastern part of the port channel around the lighthouse ‘Lange Nelle’ with a great variety of subjects and panoramic views: fishery dock, fishery industry, fish market on the docks, dredgers, the Fort Napoleon (1811-1813), dune, beach and sea, bomb shelters WW II and Ostend seen from the other side: ferry’s and fast catamarans, locks and slipways.
