Golf initiation

On the historic site of the Wellington Racecourse a new golf centre has been established in 2004: Wellington Golf Oostende. This unique green lung in the city centre is now open to the large public throughout the year.

The golf club disposes of a driving range of nearly 25.000 m2 with no less than 25 covered stands, a very large putting green and a chipping green with bunkers. On the adjacent ground 6 holes for training were established, in total more than 900 m length. It makes the Wellington Golf Oostende one of the largest training centers in the provinces of West and East Flanders, ideal for both beginners and advanced players.
