The annual congress of VVOV, an organisation that has consciously chosen the City by the Sea and specifically the historic Thermae Palace for years, settled in Ostend once again in early May. For Meet in Oostende, this long-term collaboration is a prime example of how trust, quality, and active support go hand in hand.
The congress day featured a strong programme centered around current topics within the nursing profession. Participants gained new insights from various specialities, presented by experts in the field. The combination of knowledge sharing, practical experience, and reflection provided a solid professional foundation, supported by a dedicated community.
In addition to the formal programme, there was ample room for connection and informal exchange. The evening event at the Bagatelle hall in the ACEG Wellington Hippodrome offered a relaxed setting for participants to network further. This balance between substance and experience is one of the reasons why VVOV feels so at home in Ostend.
A few days before the congress, we joined forces with the organisation to explore Ostend’s current offerings with an eye on future editions. This tour included visits to both Kursaal Oostende and De Grote Post, two venues that each offer unique value for congresses. The local hotel landscape was also reviewed, with the recent renovations at Hotel Andromeda standing out significantly. Both its breakfast room and meeting facilities received a complete upgrade, making the hotel even better tailored to the expectations of congress delegations.
We stand ready to help build your next edition in Ostend.
